How Did I Get Here?

Buying flowers, growing flowers, or arranging flowers, these are my happy places. I remember my grandmother went to a flower arranging class and I saw how delighted and proud she was when she presented her finished article.

I think that was my first introduction to knowing such workshops existed.
Years later I took a class myself with my mum at a Flower Barn at a local farm. It was like a sweetie shop, every shape, colour, and texture.
That was me hooked.
I made and sold some dried flower baskets for work colleagues and that’s when I realised it was something I wanted to do professionally at some point.
Fast forward to a move to Denmark where I took the opportunity to work in a flower shop “Blomster Skraedderen” (Flower Tailor). Pernille was and is very talented and taught me everything she knows. I have a lot of respect for her, and we had a lot of fun working in the shop and conducting evening classes. I have very fond memories that I will treasure always.
2 children and a move to Scotland brought me away from Denmark a country with its people and floral influences in my heart.
Our boys are grown up now living their best lives doing what they love most so now it is time for me to live my dream running my own business in floristry – finally!
I have worked in customer service all my working life. I love talking to people finding out about them and touching their souls through flowers. From the moment I get an order that’s me submerged in the customers ideas, wishes and vision. It’s such a joy to see their faces when you bring it all together. It would be my pleasure to help tell your story.
